Compared to everyone's knowledge, precision castings may be scrapped in the production and processing of precision forging due to momentary carelessness. The appearance of scrapping not only delays the time of the staff, but also wastes the materials of the modules. At present, China is promoting energy-saving production. Influenced by national policies, many precision casting manufacturers will carry out energy-saving and environmental protection renovations in their industrial structure. Therefore, what are the precautions for energy-saving production in precision casting? The editor summarizes the following points:

1. Optimize design and process to improve the production efficiency of precision castings. On the premise of ensuring the quality of precision castings, changing the pouring system and using insulated risers can generally improve the outlet speed. Increasing the export ratio from 60% to 70% can reduce energy consumption by 14.3%.

2. Adopting high density molding machines and modern core making technology to minimize casting quality and machining allowances. Practice has shown that compared with manual molding and ordinary mechanical molding, high-pressure molding can reduce the quality of castings by 3% -5%, and the machining allowance can also be maintained at 2-3mm. Reducing weight not only saves energy in the precision casting workshop, but also reduces energy consumption in subsequent processing.

3. Adopt energy-saving processes and organize production reasonably. If self hardening resin sand or surface drying type is used instead of clay sand drying type, it saves energy consumption of drying molds; Strict batching, determination of appropriate casting components, adoption of effective incubation procedures, elimination of white holes or hard spots in the casting state, and cancellation of graphitization annealing process; The elongation requirement of ductile iron is that the elongation after fracture should be less than 12% in the as cast state. Frequency wave harmonic vibration aging process should be adopted as much as possible to eliminate stress reduction during thermal aging process.

4. Save materials and try to reuse them as much as possible. Because the production of any substance requires energy.

5. Precision casting enterprises achieve large-scale production, with each casting unit producing over 5000 tons. Due to the large output of enterprises and the long working time of heating furnaces, the heating energy of the heating furnace itself can be evenly distributed among the energy consumption of each ton of castings, which can greatly reduce energy consumption.
