Precision casting, as the name suggests, is a machining and forming process. Precision casting is a general term for precision casting technology that uses precision modeling methods. It includes investment casting, ceramic casting, metal casting, pressure casting, and lost foam casting. A common practice is to first design and produce molds according to the requirements of the product (with or without a small margin) using wax casting method.
