Stainless steel precision casting refers to a machining method of casting and manufacturing related components under high precision conditions. The stainless steel precision casting process is mainly divided into the following types:
1. Hot chamber die casting. Hot chamber die casting is a high-pressure casting process that forces molten metal into a metal mold. By improving the strength and hardness of zinc alloy steel, the product has excellent toughness and almost defect free surface quality. Hot chamber die casting is suitable for the production of short feed components, such as electronic parts, plastic parts, etc.
2. Cold chamber die casting. Cold chamber die casting is the process of injecting molten metal into a high-speed moving metal mold, rapidly cooling and solidifying to form a dense and high-strength product. Cold chamber die casting can produce some larger castings, such as car engine cylinder heads, transmission case covers, etc.
3. Dipped paint casting. Immersion casting is a casting process that applies viscous paint to the surface of a mold. This type of paint dries before the mold is immersed in water, increasing the hardness and durability of the mold. After casting, aluminum alloy products have high surface quality and dimensional accuracy, making them suitable for making lightweight components for automotive and aviation engines.
4. Precision injection molding. Precision injection molding is a processing method that injects molten plastic or rubber into precision molds. The parts produced by precision injection molding not only have accurate dimensions, but also have good surface quality and consistency in blank weight. This process is suitable for the production of small high-precision products, such as mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, etc.
In summary, there are many types of stainless steel precision casting processes, and the selection of a suitable process can be determined based on the characteristics and target requirements of the product.
