I'm sure everyone knows about castings, but when it comes to stainless steel precision castings, you may be confused. Precision casting, also known as silica sol casting, is a widely used process for various castings, but it often encounters some small problems during the casting process! Below, the editor will talk about these small problems and their solutions.

1、 Hammer head stuck

Solution:

1. In production, temperature should be regularly measured to avoid excessive temperature of the hammer head and driver cylinder;

2. Choose high-quality, impurity free alloy materials to avoid impurities sticking to the hammer head.

2、 The injection head is stuck in the gooseneck

Solution:

Wait for the device to be at room temperature, try turning the hammer head. If it cannot be turned, replace the driver's cylinder and remove the hammer head. If you want to quickly solve the problem of jamming, the best way is to replace the material pot.

3、 When making materials, dozens of molds cannot be produced, and it will take a few minutes to continue making materials

Check if there are any bright spots at the top of the material head. If all the sections are gray, it indicates that the nozzle is blocked. You can moderately increase the temperature of the nozzle, reduce the time for leaving the nozzle by 0.1 to 0.2 seconds, and slightly turn off the cooling water for the fixed mold.

4、 Thin walled die cast products are prone to cracking

Solution:

This problem may be caused by material problems, poor mold setting, or improper selection of process parameters. It is recommended to control the proportion of waste materials to not exceed 30%, and the retention time of the mold should not be too long. The wall thickness should be around 3 seconds per mm, and the ejection delay should not be long, usually 0.5-2 seconds.

5、 The material is too hard and the cutting tools are prone to wear and tear

Solution:

Using raw material ratios instead of recycled materials, using gemstone blades specifically produced for hard alloys.

6、 Aluminum die castings have black spots during polishing

Solution:

Reduce the concentration of spray agents and switch to other spray agents; Or extend the blowing time after spraying.

7、 Metal splashing during die-casting process

Solution:

Reinstall the mold; Increase the locking force and adjust the die-casting machine to ensure that the installation plates of the moving and fixed molds are parallel to each other; Add support plates on the moving mold to increase the stiffness of the sleeve plate.

8、 Pattern formation after anodizing of die-casting parts

Solution:

Uneven spraying and injection of oil, improper high-speed switching position, or high copper ion content in the oxidation tank can cause pattern problems. Therefore, spraying and injection of oil can be evenly distributed and not concentrated locally, or high-speed switching position can be set to reduce under casting phenomenon.
